Agar South Dakota (Sutton Bay)
Premier Golf and Pheasant Hunting Destination
One of the premier walleye lakes in the US is just out the back door of the Sutton Bay lodge. A 14lb 2oz walleye was caught on this lake and the state record 21lb 2oz Chinook salmon was caught in September 2002. There are also catfish, bass and other types of game fish such as northern pike; in fact, one member caught a 24lb Northern in 2004.
The Sutton Bay Golf Course, designed by Internationally acclaimed architect Graham Marsh and constructed by master golf builder Bill Kubly, sits above the spectacular landforms of the Missouri breaks and overlooks the massive expanse of water known as Lake Oahe. The 18-hole championship golf course can be authentically described as true inland links golf located on a parcel of land that provides some of the most breathtaking views found on any golf course in the world.
Sutton Bay is the premier place to experience upland bird hunting in the Midwest. We have over 3,600 acres of prime pheasant hunting land, all in licensed preserves, thus allowing us to hunt starting September 1st.
